Mission Statement

The current budget crisis we’re in represents an important time for collaboration and innovation both in and outside of Associated Students. This crisis offers a unique opportunity for us to work together to further the interests and promote the welfare of every student at this university. This year, we are working to create a campus climate where students feel supported and prepared to meet their academic and career goals.

As the Associated Students Office of the President, we are committed to:

  • Advocating for the retention of student services and supporting campus sustainability efforts.
  • Organizing to hold the UC accountable to its mission of providing an accessible, affordable, and quality education for the people of California.
  • Ensuring that every single student voice is heard, amplified, and actively represented at the campus and system-wide level.
  • Implementing programs and campaigns that enhance students’ university experience while building community between students, staff, and faculty members.
